The cylinder head is cast by cast iron or aluminum alloy, is the installation base of the valve mechanism, is also the sealing cover of the cylinder, and the top of the cylinder and the piston constitute the combustion chamber. Many have adopted camshaft support seat and tappet guide hole seat and cylinder head cast in one structure.
The cylinder head damage is mostly caused by the warpage deformation of the cylinder head and cylinder hole sealing plane (causing the seal to be damaged), cracks in the intake and exhaust valve seat holes, and loss of spark plug installation threads. In particular, the cylinder head cast with aluminum alloy, because of its low hardness of the material, the strength is relatively poor, it is easier to deformation and damage, so the consumption is more than that of cast iron.
